New Boston TX Chamber of Commerce mission is dedicated to helping our local members grow their businesses throughout our New Boston, TX area. Our mission is to enhance the business environment, the economic well-being and quality of life for the people and businesses in New Boston, Bowie County, TX. 
Our association consists of over 125 businesses, organizations, and individuals that work toward the interests of our business community.

Established in 1944 as a local housing initiative, New Boston Property Management has evolved into a powerhouse for property management and rental assistance across Northeast Texas. The journey—from managing twenty post-WWII apartments to 343 leases today—is a testament to strategic growth through purchasing, constructing, and development.

Key milestones & management excellence include a legacy of 80+ years of operation and proven community service. Stable leadership has been displayed with only seven Executive Directors in the history, including the current Director, Cal Davis, who has served for over 25 years. Concerning expansion, New Boston Property Management rebranded to NETX Properties to reflect the expanded management role across four different towns in the region. Overseeing assets valued at over $10M with annual budgets exceeding $4M gives a summary of the established financial strength.

The dedication to operational excellence has resulted in the four managed agencies consistently achieving High-Performance status and Excellent ratings with federal oversight. This commitment to integrity was formally recognized when the prestigious Better Business Bureau Integrity Award was received in 2025. NETX Properties proudly serves approximately 750 individuals daily and is committed to the mission of providing stable housing for the elderly, persons with disabilities, individuals, and families.

TexAmericas Center Commissioning of two Locomotives for their Facility

TexAmericas Center Locomotive Commissioning

TexAmericas Center Locomotive Commissioning was Nov 19, 2025 out at their railyard on Cass Rd. They had an incredible turnout of Federal, State and Local Officials as well as representatives from various industries and non-profit organizations. 

Executive Director and CEO, Scott Norton, welcomed everyone to this beautiful occasion - the Commissioning of two TexAmericas Center Locomotives to help them facilitate freight movement on their massive property and help provide timely delivery for all their tenants.
