New Boston TX Chamber of Commerce mission is dedicated to helping our local members grow their businesses throughout our New Boston, TX area. Our mission is to enhance the business environment, the economic well-being and quality of life for the people and businesses in New Boston, Bowie County, TX. 
Our association consists of over 125 businesses, organizations, and individuals that work toward the interests of our business community.

Business of the Month - November 2025

Established in 1944 as a local housing initiative, New Boston Property Management has evolved into a powerhouse for property management and rental assistance across Northeast Texas. The journey—from managing twenty post-WWII apartments to 343 leases today—is a testament to strategic growth through purchasing, constructing, and development.

Key milestones & management excellence include a legacy of 80+ years of operation and proven community service. Stable leadership has been displayed with only seven Executive Directors in the history, including the current Director, Cal Davis, who has served for over 25 years. Concerning expansion, New Boston Property Management rebranded to NETX Properties to reflect the expanded management role across four different towns in the region. Overseeing assets valued at over $10M with annual budgets exceeding $4M gives a summary of the established financial strength.

The dedication to operational excellence has resulted in the four managed agencies consistently achieving High-Performance status and Excellent ratings with federal oversight. This commitment to integrity was formally recognized when the prestigious Better Business Bureau Integrity Award was received in 2025. NETX Properties proudly serves approximately 750 individuals daily and is committed to the mission of providing stable housing for the elderly, persons with disabilities, individuals, and families.

Lovey's on Main, 114 E Main St., New Boston, TX 75570 

Lovey's on Main is a new Boutique and Consignment store to New Boston. Owner, Laura Beard, is excited to be opening her store with trendy up to date fashion and accessories. Her shop is filled with pre-loved and new treasures just waiting to be discovered. From business casual all the way to formal and elegant dresses. Her store is between Rip England Premier Realty and the New Boston Volunteer Fire Department.

Lovey's on Main has a Ribbon Cutting set for Thursday January 8th at 10 am

TEXAR - Our story began as Bowie County Teachers Credit Union. Then in 1964 we became Bowie-Cass Teachers Credit Union and Teachers Federal Credit Union in 1996. Most recently, in 2001, we became TEXAR Federal Credit Union. All the while we have stayed true to our mission: “To serve the financial needs of our members”

As a not for profit financial cooperative, we are always looking for ways to serve our members. At TEXAR, we are continually analyzing every aspect of our business in order to provide the highest possible dividend and the most competitive loan rates. It is particularly rewarding when we can do this by introducing new technology.

MyTEXAR Teller
One exciting technology is MyTEXAR Tellers. This service gives our members convenient, extended access to a teller at any TEXAR drive-thru or any stand-alone location. Our members have the ability to choose to speak to a teller or use the ATM function. ATM transactions operate just as you would expect at any ATM.

TexAmericas Center Commissioning of two Locomotives for their Facility

TexAmericas Center Locomotive Commissioning

TexAmericas Center Locomotive Commissioning was Nov 19, 2025 out at their railyard on Cass Rd. They had an incredible turnout of Federal, State and Local Officials as well as representatives from various industries and non-profit organizations. 

Executive Director and CEO, Scott Norton, welcomed everyone to this beautiful occasion - the Commissioning of two TexAmericas Center Locomotives to help them facilitate freight movement on their massive property and help provide timely delivery for all their tenants.
