Let's Battle Cancer Together Foundation, New Boston, Texas 75570
This Non-Profit Foundation was started by friends and relatives of Charlie Clark, in New Boston . They held a very impressive "GloWalk" last month to raise awareness about cancer and its devastating effects it has on us. When Charlie was going thru treatments and medical care, they raised funds to help him with all the expenses. This led to the creation of this foundation and they have already been giving back.

The Ranchers Table, Texarkana, Texas ~ (430) 610-8310
The Ranchers' Table is a local meat ministry founded for the purpose of providing high-quality protein products to those in our community experiencing food insecurity. Currently a staggering 20% of our friends and neighbors in Miller, Bowie, and surrounding counties do not have enough food on the table. We are building a network of ranchers, food banks, butchers, and volunteers, to work together to help those facing insecurity around us.
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization as defined under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRC: charitable organizations, churches and religious organizations, and private foundations.
Ranchers Table Founder, Ed Williams, was introduced to cow herding by his dear friend, Mike "Shorty" Smith, who passed away in 2018. After Ed assisted Mike with a building project, Mike surprised Ed with funds and a request that Ed start a cow herd for his grandkids. Ed followed the formula from Mike, started a herd, and now serves as his grandkids ranch-hand.
The idea for the Rancher's Table ministry started in a living room on a quiet morning when Ed was recovering from a life altering battle with COVID-19. While listening to a television preacher, Ed felt God say, "Give a cow." That's it. Just "Give a cow." From that moment on, Ed knew he had to start this ministry with the help of friends and family to help those less fortunate. Now in the cow business and serving as his grandkids ranch-hand, Ed launched this ministry in memory of his friend and mentor. Mike planted this seed and laid out a plan to make it keep growing.
Together we can affect the lives of our neighbors in Northeast Texas and Southwest Arkansas. By giving the food necessities that we take for granted each day.
